praise & Worship

The Praise & Worship Ministry consists of worshipers who are committed to the Lord and desire to lead others into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 2:11 He says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises."

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

The main focus of the Praise & Worship Ministry is to lead people into true praise & worship. We hope to go from just singing words to feeling anointed by the grace of the Holy Spirit. We hope that participants are filled with His peace, His love, His joy; helping them into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. We want the congregation to freely and openly sing, clap, and raise their hands in worship and to feel comfortable doing so.

Praise is an expression of faith and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome in all our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Praise is a "sacrifice," something that we offer to God, not just because we like singing but because we believe in Him and wish to please Him. ".......therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name."
